Positions: VP of Service, VP of Advocacy
Alice Cheatham is a senior at Utah Valley University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations.
Prior to UVU, Alice attended Brigham Young University - Hawaii where she actively participated in the Student Association as Student Publicist. Her duties included managing all BYUHSA social media accounts, and overseeing a team of student graphic designers tasked with producing posters and digital media for university sponsored events. Alice transferred to UVU and joined PRSSA after serving a mission for the LDS church in Dallas, Texas. During that time she had the opportunity to organize English language classes for Spanish speakers, volunteer at the Salvation Army of Dallas, and participate in various projects with the Love Where You Live organization.
If elected, Alice hopes to support fellow PRSSA executive board members in achieving greater student involvement by utilizing her experiences interacting with diverse communities. She plans to target students who are ‘on the fence’ about joining the chapter and invite them to take part in fun, convenient events and service activities. When she isn’t doing homework, Alice can be found thrift shopping or going out to eat at the tastiest hole-in-the wall with her husband Josh.
