An amazing and unforgettable experience.  It was incredible to see the "behind the scenes" of what goes on the the PR capital of the world. Some trip highlights were visiting the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Rockefeller Center, Chinatown, a great little restaurant called Sushi Samba, 5th Avenue Central Park, Madison Square Gardens, Wall Street, Trinity Church Carnegie Hall and Carnegie Deli (food was fav n't my but it was very NY), seeing Wicked on Broadway, figuring out how to get around the subway (what a sense of accomplishment :), roatating restaurant at the top of our hotel- the Marriot Marquis, Little Italy- the most amazing Italian gelato on the planet and Carmines Carmines Italian food ever!

Meeting with Rachel Cohen- Integrated Marketing Director for SVP worldwide and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.  One of my favorite tips that I learned while meeting with this PR pro was assuring that  every task/campaign was:

T- Targeted

I - Integrated

M- Measurable

Also learning how to sell yourself is a valuable skill that you will use on a daily basis.  It was also great meeting with Maneesh Goyal, President of MKG Event Planning ProductionsHunter Public Relations FirmPRSA National HeadquartersSeeSaw Brand Management, and meeting with the United Nations Ambassadors of the Peoples Republic of China, Bangledash, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and Belaurs and meeting with the President of International Relations of the LDS church all in the Manhattan LDS temple.
