Charonda Edwards

Historian


Charonda Edwards is a senior at Utah Valley University, majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. She is the 2014-2015 Historian for the Public Relations Student Society of America for Utah Valley University.

Charonda has over 2 years of experience in conflict resolution and has helped mediate cases for small claims court. Also, she helped high school students achieve their academic objectives through mentoring.

Taking an interest in social media, Charonda interned as the social media specialist for the Wayne Brown Institute, a non-profit business acceleration organization. She looks forward to gaining more experience through future internships.

After graduation, Charonda plans to travel overseas to gain more international insight. Her goal is to use her public relations experience to help build societal awareness for current world issues and create a positive social impact through working with companies and non-profit organizations.
