Gaby Lopez - VP of Advocacy
Year in school: Senior :)
Favorite Class: This is such a hard question, I really loved my case studies class I'm currently in, I also love theories of performance. Honestly, it's hard to pick just one. It's like asking me who's more attractive Brad Pitt or Chris Pine.
Dream Job: Work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a communications director. I would also love to do Political PR.
How I got involved in PRSSA: Someone from the executive board and I knew each other and she mentioned to me about PRSSA. I knew I wanted to get involved in school. I signed up for events committee and helped out for some events. A year later the more I got involved in public relations the more I loved it. I then decided to run for the executive board.
Advice to current/future members: Get involved!! I know life is busy but getting involved has opened so many doors for me. Take a risk and go for it.
What I want to accomplish on the Executive Board: I want to make sure all PR students know about PRSSA. I know as freshmen I went to class then went home. I had no idea what PRSSA was. I know how wonderful this opportunity is and want to make sure that I encourage everyone to know about it. I want to be able to reach out to high schools and also let them know about the PR club :)
