I personally believe that internships are CRITICAL to the future success of any aspiring PR professional. NOW is the time that we should LEARN without fear of negative consequences. Internship providers aren’t expecting interns to be perfect. How great is that? They KNOW that we are there to grow and want to help us do it. My current internship that I acquired through PRSSA has truly shaped my personal and professional life. This internship has made me more confident in myself, my public relations knowledge and in my professional abilities.
